Learn how to use and maintain your Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro for spotless, sanitised bottles every day. Includes step-by-step care tips.

Quick answer

Use the Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro daily by loading it correctly, choosing the right cycle, and performing simple weekly cleaning to keep it running smoothly.

Why daily care matters for your bottle washer

Unlike a standard dishwasher, the Bottle Washer Pro uses high-pressure jets and steam to sanitise. Milk residue and hard water can build up inside if you skip regular maintenance, reducing cleaning power and shortening the machine's life.

A quick rinse of the water tank and a monthly descale keep the spray jets clear and the drying fan working efficiently. This also prevents odours and ensures every cycle delivers 99.9% germ kill.

Daily use and care steps

  1. Load bottles and parts correctly: Place bottles upside down on the lower rack and smaller parts (nipples, rings, pump parts) in the top basket. Ensure nothing blocks the spray arm. Overcrowding reduces cleaning performance – leave small gaps between items.
  2. Fill the water tank and add detergent: Fill the removable water tank with cold tap water up to the max line. Add the recommended amount of bottle washer detergent to the dispenser compartment. Using too much detergent can leave residue; start with the amount suggested in the manual.
  3. Select and start the cycle: Press the power button, then choose the cycle that matches your load: 'Wash & Dry' for a full clean, or 'Rinse & Dry' if bottles are already rinsed. Press Start. The full cycle takes about 30 minutes – plan ahead so bottles are ready for the next feed.
  4. Empty and air-dry the machine after use: Once the cycle finishes, open the door and leave it slightly ajar for 10–15 minutes to let any remaining moisture evaporate. Empty the water tank and wipe the interior door seal with a dry cloth. Leaving the door closed while wet can cause mould and odours – always air it out.
  5. Clean the filter and spray arm weekly: Remove the filter at the bottom of the wash chamber and rinse it under running water. Check the spray arm holes for clogs and clear them with a toothpick if needed. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth. A clogged filter or spray arm is the most common cause of poor cleaning results.
